Dr. Crowther is an aquatic ecologist with over 35 years of experience and is also the Principal of Aquatic Resource Management Ltd. (ARML). ARML was incorporated in 1986 and had provided services continuously since that time in the areas of: water quality, bio-monitoring, environmental impact assessment, water policy development both domestically and internationally, and basin management. Maskwacîs Cree Nations: Water Needs Assessment Project 20 Throughout this period of time Dr. Crowther has worked with and for First Nations throughout North America but most particularly in Western Canada and Alberta. The majority of his work for the Nations has been related to water issues particularly in areas of environmental protection, impact assessment, traditional knowledge and water policy. More recently, he has been working on co-management agreement, water needs assessments and the education of First Nations related to those issues.Offers professional services to the forest industry, oil and gas industry, utility industry, all levels of government, First Nations and rural landowners.
