Territorial Information System

Description: To undertake a feasibility study to confirm the design and potential downstream implementation of a Territorial Information System for the Metropolitan Area of San Jose (SITAM - Sistema de Informacion Territorial del Area Metropolitana).

Open Source Web-Based Municipal Planning Tool

Description: Tesera was retained to develop an open source web-based integrated municipal collaboration tool using open source GIS to enable the 13 major municipalities which make up greater San José to integrate certain planning efforts.

Web-Based State of the Watershed Reporting (BRBC)

Description: Working collaboratively with SEAWA, the Bow River Basin Council is now also in the final stages of completing their web-based state of the watershed reporting tool.  Tesera Systems, worked on behalf of the BRBC, to leverage the development work that was completed for SEAWA.  SEAWA agreed to contribute to the new additional features developed so that both groups could benefit. 

Water Data Access Module

Description: This multi-year project began by researching and creating a listing and profile of available sources (providers) of Alberta water related data, information and research. The project team then leveraged this work, and developed a more comprehensive and detailed catalogue of this water data by topic, key word, location, land use region and watershed basin.

Web-Based State of the Watershed Reporting Module

Description: SEAWA requested proposals and concepts to move their State of the Watershed reporting requirements into an online format.  The basic requirements outlined included: 1) real-time and continuous reporting options; 2) a user friendly and intuitive user experience, and; 3) advanced options for more experienced users to drill down to more detail. 

Alberta WaterPortal

Summary: Tesera (in partnership with IBM Canada) was retained to assist in the development of the Alberta Water Portal – a comprehensive, independently managed, open source web-based information portal to promote the ongoing sharing of water data, information, dialogue and knowledge among all Albertans.
