Vice President, Finance and Planning

Kevin Pettersen holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Geography and a Master of Science in Climatology and GIS as well as Master of Forest Conservation (MFC) degree.

Kevin has 17 years of experience working in environmental and natural resource planning and management. He has led the development of several sustainable resource management plans, strategic planning for multi-stakeholder organizations, facilitation of stakeholder groups, compiled strategic reports and documents, developed indicator management systems for natural resource management (i.e. monitoring, reporting and evaluation), and project management of several large natural resource management projects. Outside of the work environment, in addition to raising a family, Kevin enjoys traveling, running (marathon and half marathons), cross country, alpine and telemark skiing, hiking, mountain biking and canoeing (marathon, outrigger and dragonboat). Kevin also has an avid interest in cooking and is a member the Calgary chapter of Les Marmitons.
